SKRADIN

Skradin is a romantic Mediterranean town with narrow paved streets, passages, vaults and stairs. The entire town core represents a protected cultural monument. It contains houses dating from the 18th and 19th century which are stuccoed inthe manner typical for Venice and areas under her influence. On the streets of Skradin you will find the pleasant atmosphere of a small Dalmatian town, especially during the Skradin festival of klapa singing (a capella singing typical for the Croatian Adriatic) or during the celebration of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. Be sure to visit the natural beauties of the Krka national park, as well as the Skradin waterfall, Roski waterfall and Visovac, all located within the national park.Skradin is a starting point for visiting NP Krka by boat (Skradin - Skradinski Buk), and favorite BILL GATES yacht harbor. During the summer months, ferry lines are very frequent from Skradin to the Krka national park. In Skradin, you can enjoy swimming at the bathing place located on the Krka river, or in a beach located on the very spot where the river meets the sea. If you are a gastronomy enthusiast and wish to savor the specialties of this region, visit the restaurants “Zlatne školjke”, “Bak”, “Barbara”, as well as the taverns “Prstaci”, “Dalmatino” and “Bonaca”. Skradin is especially magical at night.
